Four square years in four square kilometers
Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 12:09AM
A picture is worth a thousand words. Will leave you with two, pictures that is...
A map (thanks to google) which defines 16 years of life spent just going between the marked spots,
and a very important "X" on that map that got special mention!
More than two thousand words rush into my head at the realization that a life that was centered around crossroads denoted by a small "+" on the map, branched out to locations, far and away.
Life does take you places.
You know I am good for all two thousand words given the time, but will stop with the first 60.
Know at least one person who would exclaim "thank god!" after reading that sentence!

A beautiful post.. are you, by any chance a Cancerian?
Awesome post. I am tempted to do mine...lol
I used to visit my kollu paati's place at 45 Alamelmangapuram (Nurit Inks) often when I was a kid. Ah memories!
The first 60 has a power pack that could send the 2000 to someplace else !
Porikadalai sold here has been a landmark for many people ! Because to the young and the old ( & ofcourse the inbetweens...the kadalai mattered. Always !!
Oh no...i lived in Mylapore for 21 years and never discovered Kabali kadalai nilayam :-( We went to ambika appalam depot and had the badam milk and masala peanuts there...
Sundar.. thats so cool.. some places are right next to where I grew up.. Mylapore for me is the walk from Kapaleshwar through mada finally ending in Rosary church rd..
