A fantastic hike at Coyote Hill Regional park

This morning we started early and drove to Fremont to hike in the Coyote Hills regional park. This was a last minute decision, late last night. Was happy to go on a new hike. The day and location did not disappoint.

We saw turkeys, ducks, geese, a lot of different small birds, deer, rabbits.. there were also a ton of mosquitos, gnats, butterflies, caterpillars, and other insects that we did not know that made the hike interesting.

The scenery was great. We parked on the other side of the street from the entrance and walked. We did not have a day permit and the booth wasn’t open that early. It was flat terrain for the most part and then the ladies declared that a hike has a two hill minimum! we ended up through 4 or 5 before coming back.

Loved this hike! The pollen and. insects did make it challenging. Next time hat with nets, Deet and this will be even better. Going to grab the SLR with the zoom as well. The birds were colorful but the iPhone could only do so much.

Here are the pictures.. starting with “Mr. Dilwale and Ms. Dulhania”

More pics in portrait format..

A video highlights reel.

Definitely recommend this place for an early morning half day hike. Just beautiful!

Buga and Bugb

Bugb looked down at the kitchen sink. He could not see very clearly.

"What the hell do you think he is doing?" he asked Buga.

Don't know. Cannot see very clearly from up here. Let't wait till it gets closer!

The man openend the pill box from the countertop and took what appeared to be two capsules. Just as he was about to pop them in his mouth, he took them closer to his face to get a look.

"You must be kidding me!" said Buga.

"He can't be serious?" said Bugb.

"Oh, I am dying here already.. with laughter! ha ha ha" said Buga.

"Look, he is taking two now instead of one! Can you believe that?"

Can't wait to tell the rest of the guys, "Hey Bugc, go let everyone know, everyone! Everyone including Bugz, and tell them what we just saw!"

Bugc came quietly under the Nose bridge to get a sneak peak...

"Ha ha ha!" this is too funny, they all said...

Bring it on! Like we haven't seen you before!

The above is a true account of two bugs watching me take two tablets of 500 mg amoxicillin religiously twice a day for the last 9 days.

It is almost that funny!

Where are you Visitor....

Used to visit the-visitor.blogspot.com frequently.

I know that the visitor has been busy recently and stopped posting.

But what is interesting is that the link on my sidebar goes to the same URL, but it is now a new site maintained by someone else since May 2007 ???

How is that possible? I have been to the same URL as late as last month and there was a new post!

A blogger bug? I do not know "the Visitor"s real identity! If you read this blog and know the visitor, do let the visitor know. I do go back to old comments from the visitor and it shows a profile for Christy who has been on blogger since mid 2006.
The new visitor has a profile since April 2007..

Another funny thing with blogger. Ever notice the "next blog" button on the top of the blogger page? Sometimes I click it to see who else posted just after I did a post. This happens when I have checked out every link in my sidebar and am bored.

Last week, I was at home and clicked this link. The third time I clicked it, it went to a porn site! And when it opened that page there was no bar on the top with the "next blog" or "flag blog" button!

Right now, Jr. knows how to turn on the computer, double click the "e", type "uptoten" in the google home page and then go see her Boowa and Kwala animated clips! Sometimes, she sees my blog, when I have left it open. Guess I have to be more careful, now that blogger has an accidental way of delivering porn to your doorstep!
