That four letter word !!!

every wife in this world !!
VETO !!
Is is more powerful than other four letter words used by both the President and every wife in this world (against anyone and everyone who comes in their path).
Personally, I have not been very smart at dealing with my wife's VETO's but I am learning from the best teacher in the business, my daughter !!
1. Act in a certain way that will surely evoke a negative response
2. once the parent (or spouse ) is totally pissed off ...
3. then make it appear as though that act was not intended or it is not that important to you and you are ready to accept the new terms and conditions
4. this leaves the other person in shock because they cannot continue to scream at you (you have taken the "its okay" stance), and they are still mad because you did what you did and got away with it !!
the best part is that Jr. wants us to suggest the alternative ! That is what she was after in the first place, but she chooses this roundabout method to get things done her way.
Kids are amazing manipulators !!
Example :
Jr. goes and takes soem fried goodies from a jar knowing that it will be VETO'ed (considering she is throwing up and has a fever).. we VETO it. Then out of pity we say "okay you can have some cookies instead".. she KNOWS we will say that !!! When she smiles that crooked simle with the cookies in her hand, we realize we have been conned !!
